October
On Thursday 25th October the HBP autumn Breakfast Networking event was held at the Redbridge Cycle Centre in Forest Road which is a very popular venue for the HBP and its members. The event was again sponsored by Hills of Woodford / Toyota & Lexus under the leadership of Mr. Dave Bemment the Business Centre Manager.

The event was very well supported by our members and sponsors, around a dozen presentations were made by business owners and sponsors and the event was again very successful for all concerned.

Mr. Bemment has already confirmed that Toyota are happy to sponsor another event in the autumn next year around the same, Dave brought along a couple of new models for everyone to have a look at and several member’s took up the offer of a test drive.

Should you as a member wish to make a presentations at our next event in the spring please let us know.

We were also fortunate to have the leader of the local authority Cllr Keith Prince come along for a brief period, he asked if he could say a few words about some new information he had re the HBP, during his speech he indicated that he has again been in conversation with TFL re getting a Bus rerouted through the Park to help employees in getting to work. He also highlighted that because Fairlop Station on the Central Line is not supported by a bus Service it is one of the most unused stations on the Central Line, we awaiting further information.

We have been able to install a new CCTV System onto the Acorn Centre in Roebuck Road, these camera’s cover various areas of this estate which has 18 units, but we have also added a ANPR camera unit to monitor the entrance area and record all vehicle movement on a 24/7 basis, this installations has an infra-red system for night recording and should it be necessary will back up the main CCTV system we have in place around the Park linked to the Borough control centre.

We have now introduced several of these types of systems which have been very useful in reducing criminal activity.

We would like to thank all those businesses who were willing to assist us in housing the recording equipment .

This is part of the HBP Ltd on- going security improvements during the current BID term.
